The youngster fishing for the Ukraine hooked a big carp from peg 7 in C section over an hour ago, and with glory on his mind played it cautiously for over 60minutes before finally netting it in front of our man on the bank.
The fish was estimated to weigh over 4kg and could well help him take a second section win today after coming top in D section yesterday with 9.843kg from peg 5.
